One Life Set Up Pics

This past summer I had the opportunity to visit a friend’s church in the Knoxville, TN area. I met Rodney Arnold earlier that year at another church while he was planning the launch of One Life. I was able to get away from my church to sit in on one of their preview services.

You could just tell from the minute you walked in the door that Rodney had done his homework in terms of church planting.  They had great signage out in the parking lot and entrance. There were greeters with brightly colored t-shirts that were easy to find when you needed to ask a question. They put up pipe-n-drape to cover up the junk of the school and focus your attention on their graphic displays for coffee and children’s check-in.

All their hard work has paid off.  Within five months they’ve had well over 200 in attendance at a worship service. There’s something to be said for good planning and a good set up. Below are some pics of their set up that I took on my visit there. What impressed me about their stage set up was it’s simplicity and it’s modern look.  I included a picture I took of their entrance. I can’t remember what they put on the back of those signs, but I remember liking it. It made me feel good about the church when I left.
